Activity Choice Board

Activity Choice Board

Thanks for waiting! I was a little busier last week than I realized I would be, but back on for you, and with you, now.

We had a good question come through our email today regarding the ability to move groups that you create, or link groups in multiple places without having to recreate the group such as “I want – ACTIVITIES (links to choices)” in addition to “It’s time for – ACTIVITIES (links to choices).”The simple answer is no, our technology does not currently allow multiple group links or sliding/sharing groups to other parts of your file. Why? We are intentionally trying to keep our technology and format simple, errorless, and low cost. Will we do this in the future? Possibly. Options are currently being discussed.

I answered the email myself, giving the mom who wrote to us a designed suggestion of a communication build where ACTIVITIES is centered among language that supports it’s variable use as well as modeling opportunities for not only expressive language but also receptive, or understanding, language.

I actually really like this board I created below and will likely add it to our upcoming optional In-App Store that should be released in the next week or two. Our store will have the option to buy boards for 99 cents each, or possibly allow full access to all boards for one bulk price. From the store, you will be able to drop boards to any place you want in your app. You will also have the option to email us to create custom boards for you.

We firmly believe in the versatility of language and using multimodal supports to aid not only communication, but understanding. In that, continued creation is encouraged. We will help you with designs.

➡️Collaboration, support, and understanding! ⬅️That’s us!

More to follow this week from my own therapy sessions related to collaboration, support, and understanding, including a social story about not being able to wear your Easter Bunny costume 24/7 lol, support boards about strategies to avoid (and handle) conflicts from a bully at school, and Message Window examples of how to expand and build language to not only combine thoughts but enhance topic maintenance and build stamina in language expansion.
